Spiking COVID cases lead to state restrictions

As COVID-19 continues to spread, Oregon and Washington numbers have caused yet another slowdown in our state.

What does this mean? It means that in-person dining is canceled and all social gatherings inside and outside of the home are restricted. You are limited to five people from no more than two households during social gatherings. Restaurants can still have outdoor dining with a maximum party of just five people, according to OPB.

The state has also recommended that unnecessary travel through any means should be canceled if it can be helped. Remember, this rule applies to Oregon and Washington.

Yesterday, Nov. 19, Oregon reported over 1,100 new COVID-19 cases. It was on Nov. 17, 2019, just over one year ago, that the first case in Wuhan, China was confirmed by authorities.
