March Playlist: Issue 5, 2019

Here’s The Wolf’s fifth-issue playlist of the 2018-19 school year, as provided by the Editor-in-Chief

As we prepare for Spring Break, it’s important to have a fire playlist that will help you enjoy your break even more. It doesn’t matter if you’re staying at home or going somewhere tropical. This playlist will, without a doubt, transport you to paradise.

“Sofia”- Leland Blue: Recommended to me by a friend, this song never fails to put me in a good mood. The smooth vocals and electric guitar help me feel like I’m lying on a beach in the sun, which is exactly what I need as an Oregonian.

“Turnin’”Young Rising Sons: Although this song begins slow, the chorus really picks up and hits you in the feels. While the song is overall very encouraging, the cool-techno beat, mixed with acoustic-like vocals make it a great “happy” song.

“i’m so tired…”- Lauv, Troye Sivan: The magic that happens between Lauv and Troye Sivan is undeniable in this song, and the fact that I love both of these artists makes the song that much better. The lyrics are not only relatable but are sung in a way that makes me want to close my eyes and just enjoy the song.

“Almost (Sweet Music)”- Hozier: We all know that the Irish singer Hozier is, no doubt, incredible, but this song impressed me. Not only does this song shoutout amazing jazz songs from over time, but the catchy beat also makes me want to listen over and over again.
