With all the business of daily life, there is nothing better than being given some time off, especially if that time off involves a change of scenery. As Spring Break approaches, The Wolf asked Tualatin High students Grace Love, Natalie Shepard, Caden Howe and Olivia Pham about their exciting travel plans.
Where are you going over spring break?
Love: We are first stopping at the Newport Aquarium and then driving down the coast to California to see the redwoods.
Shepard: I’m going to Arizona.
Howe: Over Spring Break, my family and I will be going to Belize.
Pham: I’m going to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for Spring Break.
What are you planning to do there?
Love: It’s pretty much just a sightseeing road trip with my family, We like to try and spend as much time outside as we can.
Shepard: We are going to hang out with my older sister at the University of Arizona.
Howe: Our plans for the trip are fishing off of the coast, going spelunking in an ancient cave and exploring the country.
Pham: We don’t have a set plan as to what we are going to do, but we will definitely be spending some time at the beach, eating out, shopping and maybe going on some tours.
Why are you excited to go on this trip?
Love: I’m pretty excited because I love getting to be outside, and the redwoods are an incredible feat of nature.
Shepard: I want to be in warm weather and see my sister.
Howe: I am excited to go on this trip because I have never been fishing in the ocean before, and I am happy that it will be in a place like Belize.
Pham: I’m pretty excited to go on this trip since I’ve never been to Mexico before, and I’m looking forward to the hot weather and food!
Have you been there before?
Love: Once when I was very little.
Shepard: I have gone before, two years ago.
Howe: I have never been there before.
Pham: I’ve never been to Mexico.
