Author’s Note: I’m sorry in advance. Please don’t find where I live and fill my house with lobster. They smell bad. Keep the motion in the ocean where it belongs.
Y/N frolicked through the spring fields, flower petals drifting gently in the cool breeze. She was so inhumanely petite that she risked being mistaken for a forest nymph. Her six foot seven inch long golden tresses billowed in the wind, her dreamy ocean blue orbs reflecting the yellow sun and fluffy clouds as she chased a butterfly.
Suddenly, she tripped, her beautiful porcelain face landing on the ground. She was so tiny that the blades of grass looked like trees towering above her. She looked to her probably-twisted ankle to see what tripped her. It was…
“An egg?” Y/N questioned, holding up the egg and examining it. Strangely enough, it was pink with blue dots. She stood back up with the egg in hand, looking around the field in confusion.
“I think you have something of mine,” a husky voice said. Y/N turned to see a tall, well-dressed white rabbit standing patiently behind her, a basket in hand.
“A bunny, looking for eggs?” Y/N scoffed, then realized, “Wait… the Easter Bunny?!”
“The one and only,” the Easter Bunny affirmed, offering a humble bow.
“No way am I giving this egg back!” Y/N shouted. “Where are you even getting so many eggs from during a bird flu outbreak?!”
“Well, Y/N, it’s an Easter egg,” the hare explained. “It’s not… actually an egg.”
“Oh.” Y/N’s face turned a deep pink (which happened to look very good on her because this is Y/N we’re talking about). She popped the egg open, revealing the present inside: an engagement ring?!
Y/N looked at the Easter Bunny, sapphire blue spheres shining with tears. She waited for him to say something, but it also seemed like he was waiting for her to say something because it was really quiet and awkward for a hot minute.
“I’m sorry, Easter Bunny.” Y/N clicked the egg back closed. “But I’m in love with… the Grinch. I don’t care if he stole Christmas! I can fix him!”
