Coachella 2025 was one of the biggest music festivals of the year, with performances from some of the most popular artists across many genres. The festival takes place in Indio, Calif. every year, and took place over two weekends this year: April 11-13 and April 18-20. The lineup had prices high, crowds large and excitement exploding.
We saw the return of Lady Gaga, first-time headliner Green Day and trending artists like Post Malone, Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliott, Charli xcx and Jennie and Lisa from BLACKPINK. This year, there were over 125,000 attendees.
If you want the Coachella experience in coming years, here are some ways to enjoy it right from your home:
YouTube Live Stream: Coachella partners with YouTube to stream performances live. You’ll get the ‘front-row’ experience, artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage throughout both weekends.
Spotify & Apple Music Playlists: Official Coachella playlists are available with songs from its lineup, so you feel the same festive spirit.
Social Media Updates: Instagram, TikTok and X will be filled with performance clips, celebrity sightings and fashion highlights.
Wolfchella: Tualatin High School is hosting its own variation of Coachella on May 30. You’ll get a festival experience with your local community for free.
Senior music enthusiast, Emmy Clanton, spoke on the event as it surfaced on her social media pages this year.
“I have seen a few performances, and I would never go. Other festivals, like Lollapalooza and Stagecoach, seem more like my energy, but I enjoy seeing the videos and content from my phone. And honestly, just seeing Coachella through the years, it only seems fun if you have $10 to 15 thousand to spare,” Clanton said.
Like Clanton, many people have seen festival content from social media influencers per usual. The main reason is to show off their outfits— or lack thereof. Content creators like James Charles, Katie Fang and Demetra Kalogeras have been seen with “the worst Coachella outfits” with trending videos on TikTok. Disappointed viewer Sienna Pollock discussed this topic with annoyance.
“Katie Fang’s outfit was straight from Shein. Don’t wear Shein to Coachella. Also, if you wear cowboy boots, like everyone does, make sure they are real. And let’s bring back Boho-chic for events like this, “ Pollock shared.
If you’re ever lucky enough to get tickets and go to Coachella, it will be an unforgettable event— if you wear the right outfit. But if you decide to stay home and experience it from your bed, pajamas are timeless.
