It is that time of year when college decisions have been made, and you need to announce your commitment in style. This might seem intimidating. What schools are your friends going to? Did that one kid you hate get accepted into an Ivy League? Well, none of that matters at all if you can announce your decision the right way. Here are some pro-tips.
Tip #1: Posting your decision on social media is completely outdated. It’s boring. It’s been done already. To really demonstrate superiority over all your classmates, it’s time to take your college decision to the sky. Literally! Let’s make skywriting the name of the college you’re attending the new thing.
Tip #2: Be sure to use the most sophisticated words possible. A thesaurus can help with that. You could say that you are “pleased to announce your commitment to….” However, you could also say that you’re “enchanted to announce it,” “gladdened” or “jubilant.” Find the words that will rizz up your announcement the most.
Tip #3: If worse comes to worst, you can always tell a little white lie. No one else needs to know that you didn’t really get accepted to the totally-legit engineering school at the International Space Station. It’s not like you’ll run into anyone you know at OSU, right?
Don’t be scared to announce your college decisions. Embrace the next step of your journey, and remember: go big or go home!
