Three months of freedom. No school – just unlimited opportunities to spend every day doing something to maximize the amount of fun we can have. Every senior has a must-do list for the next few months.
“This summer I’m excited to catch up with old friends before we all separate and to spend time with family before I can’t see them every day,” said senior Andrea Valle.
As the senior’s last high school summer break approaches, it’s about time to make the essential, annual summer bucket list, this time bigger and better.
- Go on a road trip
- Throw a massive themed party
- Ride the train on a solo trip
- Join a random festival
- Perform at an open mic
- Stay out from sunset to sunrise
- Make a time capsule with your friends
- Create a documentary of your summer – film everything, even the boring stuff
- Say “yes” to everything for one day
- Spend 24 hours with a date or your friends with no phones
- Go camping with your friends for a weekend
- Volunteer somewhere unexpected: animal shelters, music festivals, etc.
- Make scrapbooks with your friends
- Build a treehouse or fort
- Host a “last supper” with your friends
- Have a bonfire
- Sneak into an event you’re not supposed to be at
- Do THE thing you’ve been wanting to do forever
