Spring break is fast approaching, and with that comes vacay! The Wolf staff is already counting down the days until they can ditch the stress of school and have a week to adventure wherever they please. However, the pleasures of traveling come with the horrors of packing. This can be an intimidating task, especially when teachers are cramming every last test, quiz and essay into the days right before break. Thankfully, The Wolf has come together to make you the perfect packing list because, whether you are traveling far or not, these essentials will help make for a memorable spring break.
First off, if you want to save yourself the hassle of packing your good camera, pack a disposable one! Other than the fact that they’re super handy, you won’t waste your iPhone storage or lose your expensive camera. You’ll also have a bunch of photos to develop and use for either your bedroom or photo diary.
A sun hat is also an essential. Not only will it look good with your spring break outfits, but it will also prevent sunburns.
If you are going to be in the sand this spring break, make sure to pack your baby powder. Why? Well, baby powder is one of the best ways to remove stubborn sand from your hands, feet, or hair. Talk about a life hack!
Chapstick with SPF is a must for vacation. No one wants dried, burnt lips because that is just no fun at all, so make sure to have this in your luggage.
A journal is the perfect travel essential because, even if you’re not the journaling type, it always pays to have your favorite travel moments documented.
Technology is a big one on vacation, so in order to keep your iPhone, Android, iPad, etc. charged, you will need a portable charger. This way you can charge on the go. Along with a charger, you might want to pack some headphones so you can listen to your favorite spring break tunes.
During vacation, your hair might be kind of greasy or unkempt because of always being on the go, so make sure to pack some dry shampoo. It’s easy to use and won’t take up much time.
Finally, you need a mini backpack. You can fill it with all of your necessities without having to carry them. Many of the items mentioned above would fit perfectly in it!
The Wolf staff hopes you enjoy these traveling essentials. Happy vacationing, TuHS!
