As the weather continues getting colder, a steaming cup of hot chocolate is the perfect way to keep you warm this winter. To get in the holiday spirit, take a little drive around your neighborhood with your hot chocolate and admire the Christmas lights. The Wolf Staff tested some hot chocolates offered around Tualatin to find the perfect cozy drink to warm your day.

Starbucks: (5/10) Starbucks is known for their specialty holiday drinks that return each year somehow even better than the last. However, their hot chocolate does not quite live up to the hype. The presentation of Starbucks’ drinks is always superb, though, giving it a fun wintery flair.

Seven Eleven: (7/11) We decided to give Seven Eleven’s hot cocoa a 7/11. We thought it only appropriate. They have festive additions available that will spice up your regular hot chocolate, making it worth the trip.

Dutch Bros: (9/10) Dutch Bros’ cocoa is smooth to the taste, with the creamy milk chocolate flavors melting on your tongue. The generous amount of whipped cream comes through with every sip.

Our favorite way to drink hot chocolate is with a colossal amount of whipped cream, which is why we think Dutch Bros offers the best hot cocoa. Any of these options, however, will leave you satisfied and warm on a chilly winter day.
