As the Christmas lights are hung and the tree is decorated, a cup of hot chocolate is a necessity. And there is no better place to enjoy your favorite holiday beverage than Starbucks. Starbucks officially dropped its holiday menu on Nov. 6, and customers are welcoming back fan-favorite drinks, as well as a few new bakery items.
The 2025 Starbucks holiday menu features the Caramel Brulée Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Sugar Cookie Latte and Gingerbread Chai Latte. Starbucks has also announced that, later in the season, the fan-favorite Eggnog Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte will make a return to the menu. All of these drinks can be ordered hot or iced, and some as a frappuccino. For a tasty treat, the Polar Bear Cake Pop and the Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread are new items in the bakery case, with the Snowman Cookie, Cranberry Bliss Bar and the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish as recurring options.
Junior Ansley Branton tried the Sugar Cookie Latte with sugar cookie cold foam.
“I thought that the espresso went terribly with the sugar cookie syrup because the flavors are too combative,” said Branton.
She also hopes to try Gingerbread Chai the next time she goes.
While the main focus has been on the drinks, Starbucks also released a new Bearista cup that has taken over the internet. The bear-shaped cup, retailing at $30, was almost immediately sold out at all Starbucks locations nationwide.
Whether it’s a peppermint mocha or hot chocolate, Starbucks proves yet again to be a popular spot for a festive drink.
