Once upon a time, there was someone very, VERY bored.
“Ugh, isn’t Spring Break supposed to be fun? I’m so bored,” the girl grumbled.
“Why don’t you go for a walk or something?” her brother replied, being SO helpful (note the sarcasm).
“Oh, I hadn’t thought about that,” she responded sarcastically. Sadly, her brother didn’t get the memo.
“See, I have good ideas,” he said, “so get up, you sloth, and go for a walk.”
The girl was about to grumble something back about how he was being stupid, but she realized that a walk might actually be fun.
“Fine,” she said getting up, “but I’m dragging you with me on this oh-so- grand adventure.”
The brother stood up with a sigh and followed his sister outside. They were visiting their grandparents’ small cottage out in the woods for Spring Break, where there was no service and nothing to do. So the most exciting thing to do was go on a walk.
As they were walking, the only thing to be heard was their footsteps and a bird in the distance. The forest was starting to think this was a horror movie or something, because all of a sudden, a really, really chubby squirrel ran out in front of them, tripping the brother and scaring them both.
When the girl realized what had happened, she fell over laughing hysterically at her brother because that’s what siblings do. They make fun of each other in any way possible.
“Ha ha, so funny. Go ahead and laugh at the person with life-threatening injuries,” the brother complained.
“Yes, I will laugh, thank you,” the girl replied, still laughing.
“Okay, but seriously, this walk is boring,” she complained.
Right as she said that, however, she heard something growling from the forest.
“Okay, nope, none of this. I am done with this stupid walk and this stupid scary forest. I am going back to the cottage,” she said, freaked out.
“Oh, are you scared?” the brother replied sarcastically, but when he turned around his sister had already walked away, leaving him alone.
“Uh oh,” the brother said, seeing glowing eyes peering out from the bushes.
He ran, but the figure followed him back to the cottage. The two siblings closed the door and hid all night, thinking that this was happening because they called Spring Break boring, and they swore that they would never say that again.
Little did they know, this exact thing would happen again next Spring Break, and they would realize that it was just their grandparents’ dog that was left outside.
The end.
