Everyone talks about how dogs are a man’s best friend, but I feel sorry for the people that don’t get to experience the relationship between a teenage girl and her girl dog. The unconditional love from a dog is like no other. I always have a friend roaming around my home that I can play with, walk with, talk to and know that she’s listening, even when she can’t respond.
Adventures become a lot cuter when you have a 4-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog named Mila. Mila and I enjoy going camping together, going to the beach, walking, running and so much more. Mila has grown up with me and gone through all of the trials and tribulations of being a high schooler. It gets a whole lot easier when you have a best friend to come home to each and every day.
Not to mention, she is, in fact, the cutest dog that has ever lived. Mila might not be the brightest of the bunch, but she sure is the sweetest. I have never met a dog so kind and tolerant, and even though she is over 70 pounds, she still thinks she is a lap dog. She is not a big fan of the car, but she has been getting more used to it. While other dogs stick their heads out the window, Mila’s head rests on my shoulder.
With all of that said, pets come and go, but the friendship between Mila and I will last forever, along with our memories. I am so truly grateful that I get to continue going through life with my best companion.
