Y/N’s sparkling blue orbs gazed begrudgingly at their groom, their flawless brows furrowed in discomfort. Their wedding was supposed to be an enchanting day, yet here they were, standing in front of Oogie Boogie.

“But dad! He’s- he’s stuffed! With spiders and bugs!” they complained.

“Look, kid, he’s the king of bug-day,” their father argued, defending his arrangement of the marriage.

As the officiant began the ceremony, someone in the crowd stood. The mysterious figure threw off their hood, and Ghostface stared harshly at the altar, an ominous black aura seething from his dark cloak.

“Oogie Boogie,” he boomed, crossing his arms. “You dare bask in the light of day after betraying our alliance?”

“I told you… I left that life behind long ago. I’m not that kind of person anymore.”

“We made a pact. A pact that can’t be broken without consequences.” Ghostface’s voice grew aggressive, and the guests began to cower in their seats. “It’s time to face those consequences.”

Y/N was struck with fear, and their mouth hung open cutely, because even in the face of danger, they still looked petite and adorable. Ghostface charged past Oogie Boogie, lifting Y/N over his shoulder. Their minuscule frame posed no challenge in their capture.

“Say goodbye to your spouse,” Ghostface smirked.

“No one touches Y/N without my permission!” Oogie Boogie spat.

An intense fist fight broke out between Oogie Boogie and Ghostface, with hard blows launched from all directions. Y/N lay helplessly on the ground, too small and weak to do anything but watch nervously.

Ghostface fell to the ground, exhausted from the fight.

After seeing Oogie Boogie’s courageous actions, Y/N was struck with admiration. Suddenly, they were ecstatic about marrying him because all it takes to prove a man is worthy of love is his beating up somebody for you.

“Oh, Oogie Boogie, my hero!” they cried, as if they weren’t complaining about him moments ago. The wedding ceremony resumed, and Y/N happily married Oogie Boogie, inheriting the title ‘Majesty of BugDay,’ as well as gaining the man of their dreams.
