With Valentine’s Day coming up, I think we all know about the infamous Val-o-grams that anyone can receive from a friend or maybe even a secret admirer during class. Val-o-grams are a silly, entertaining way to kick off the start of Valentine’s Day activities.
Val-o-grams are small cards that ASB sells throughout the week that are available for students to purchase. You can buy a Val-o-gram for whoever you want; the trick is that you can buy someone a Val-o-gram anonymously, so if you do happen to admire someone, or if you just want it to be a secret, they won’t have to know it was ever you!
Whoever receives the Val-o-gram bought for them gets a special performance by our school’s Crimsonnaires. They will sing to you and serenade you until you feel all the love. They are what make the experience lighthearted and entertaining for all. The Crimsonnaires go from class to class and sing their hearts out all day to the lucky receivers. Because they see it all, let’s hear from a Crimsonnaire who has had a humorous experience doing Val-o-grams:
Senior Nick Pirkle shared, “Jacobi Esparza got eight Val-o-grams in one day, so it was a funny experience for us to be singing to him that many times.”
If you don’t think you’ll be receiving any Val-o-grams, don’t worry because if anyone in your class receives one, you also get to be charmed by the voices of the Crimsonnaires.
