Y/N blinked open her bright, sparkling blue orbs as she rose from bed, feeling several round objects sitting beside her pillow. As she pushed her perfectly petite figure out of her sheets, she found a heap of what seemed to be colorful eggs and chocolate coins scattered about the room, which formed a trail into the hallway. As she walked alongside it she could hear arguing from around the corner where it led.
“Your holiday isn’t for another month,” the higher-pitched Irish voice spat. “You don’t have a chance of winning her over with some little eggs.”
She gazed into the room, batting her long lashes as she caught the short, ginger-haired man eyeing his opponent head to toe.
“My beautiful Y/N deserves someone with an important holiday. Life’s not all shamrocks and rainbows,” the taller, fluffier of the two piped up. “And someone that doesn’t need a step stool to reach eye level.”
“Stop fighting you two!”
Their heads swiveled to Y/N, an immediate redness flushing their cheeks.
“Y-Y/N, I didn’t see you there.”
The leprechaun’s thick Irish accent cut through the tension in the air. They looked between each other with sudden guilt.
“We weren’t fighting, we were just having a bit of friendly competition! Don’t worry Y/N!”
The Easter Bunny hopped over to her, placing a gentle, soft paw upon her shoulder. The Leprechaun appeared on her opposite side, and she couldn’t help but notice even he towered over her dainty stature. Despite their kind manner of speaking, she picked up a residing agitation.
“Yeah, we were just… discussing whose holiday was better.”
The two of them narrowed their eyes, a subtle standoff.
“I think we can find a way to properly settle this…” They nodded, a microphone materializing in their hands.
“A rap battle, for Y/N’s love.”
